Seasoned Pretzels and Beer Cheese Dip – Maddy’s

NOTE:

This recipe requires two packets of ranch seasoning mix. One for the pretzels and one for the beer cheese.

PRETZEL INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 oz. packet hidden valley ranch seasoning mix
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon lemon pepper

PRETZEL INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix and pour over pretzels and stir.
  2. Spread pretzels in a single layer on a parchment-lined jelly-roll pan.
  3. Bake in the oven at 170 degrees Fahrenheit (or lowest setting) for 10 minutes or until pretzels dry.
  4. Store in an airtight bag or container.

CHEESE DIP INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 blocks cream cheese
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup beer
  • 1 oz. packet hidden valley ranch seasoning mix
  • 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

CHEESE DIP INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Use room-temperature cream cheese or soften in the microwave.
  2. Stir cream cheese and mayonnaise together.
  3. Stir in beer and ranch seasoning.
  4. Mix in shredded cheese.
  5. Refrigerate for 1 -2 hours to thicken before serving.
