This recipe requires two packets of ranch seasoning mix. One for the pretzels and one for the beer cheese.
PRETZEL INGREDIENTS:
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 oz. packet hidden valley ranch seasoning mix
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper
PRETZEL INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mix and pour over pretzels and stir.
- Spread pretzels in a single layer on a parchment-lined jelly-roll pan.
- Bake in the oven at 170 degrees Fahrenheit (or lowest setting) for 10 minutes or until pretzels dry.
- Store in an airtight bag or container.
CHEESE DIP INGREDIENTS:
- 2 blocks cream cheese
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup beer
- 1 oz. packet hidden valley ranch seasoning mix
- 1.5 cups sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
CHEESE DIP INSTRUCTIONS:
- Use room-temperature cream cheese or soften in the microwave.
- Stir cream cheese and mayonnaise together.
- Stir in beer and ranch seasoning.
- Mix in shredded cheese.
- Refrigerate for 1 -2 hours to thicken before serving.
