Pesto

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 cups basil leaves
  • 1/3 cup pine nuts
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1/2 cup parmesan or Romano cheese (omit if freezing for later)
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp. salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Place the basil leaves and pine nuts in a food processor.
  2. Pulse
  3. Add garlic and cheese and salt
  4. Pulse
  5. Scrape doesn’t the sides
  6. Process streaming in 1/2 cup olive oil
