Cinnamon Rolls / Hot Rolls (Refrigerator)

Makes good bread loaves, hot rolls, or cinnamon rolls. Will keep in refrigerator for 1 week.

Makes 24-30 rolls


  • 1 pkg yeast
  • 1 pint warm water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 6 cups flour


In a Food Processor
  1. Dissolve yeast in water.
  2. Put all the ingredients in the Food Processor except 2 Cups of flour.
  3. Process until smooth.
  4. Add flour until it cleans the sides.
By Hand
  1. Dissolve yeast in water.
  2. Beat eggs in a separate container.
  3. Mix sugar, salt, shortening, and eggs.
  4. Stir in flour and knead well.
  5. Let rise once, punch down, and place in refrigerator.
