Beef Stroganoff – Crockpot

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs stew meat
  • 1 envelope dry lipton beefy onion
  • 1 envelope dry lipton onion mushroom
  • 2 4 oz cans (small) mushrooms
  • 2 10.5 oz cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  •  cooked noodles or rice

Alternate Ingredients (without dry soup packets):

  • 2 lbs stew meat
  • 3 2/3 Tablespoons Minced Onions (ground) or Onion Powder
  • 4 teaspoons / cubes Beef Bullion (ground)
  • 1/4 teaspoons Celery Seeds (ground)
  • 1/4 teaspoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoons Ground Pepper
  • 2 4oz. (small) cans mushrooms (pieces and stems are ok)
  • 2 10.5oz cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • cooked noodles or rice

Instructions:

  1. Coat meat with soup mixes and put in bottom of crock pot.
  2. Pour mushroom and mushroom juice over meat
  3. Spread mushroom soup over the top.
  4. Cook on low all day.
  5. Before serving, stir in sour cream.
  6. Serve over noodles or rice.
