Meatloaf – Gregg’s Famous Fire Station

 

Greg Alan Bahr 1959 – 2017

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 lbs. Ground Beef
  • 5 large eggs (beaten)
  • 1/4 Cup Bill’s Milk (or whatever you can get)
  • 1 Cup Unseasoned Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Onions (Diced)
  • 1 Cup Ketchup
  • 1 Tube of Saltines (Crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon Sage

TOPPING INGREDIENTS:

  • 3/4 Cup Ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
  • Bob’s Brown Sugar (to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Add eggs, milk and ketchup to meat
  2. Mix well
  3. Add onions
  4. Add bread crumbs
  5. Add  crackers
  6. Salt and pepper to  taste
  7. Make into  a loaf and bake in a good oven for about 2 hours.
  8. Mix topping ingredients
  9. Spread topping on meatloaf and bake 15 – 20 minutes more
