Margarita Rimming Salt – Colored

Colored Margaritas require Colored Margarita Salt!

Ingredients:

  • 5 Tbsp Sea Salt
  • 5 drops of food coloring
  • 5 drops of lime juice

Instructions:

    1. Put salt in a Ziplock bag or a tupperware container with a cover.
    2. Add liquid ingredients
    3. Shake well
    4. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil
    5. Pour contents out onto the foil
    6. Broil low to medium on the top rack of the oven with the door open until dry.
    7. Salt will be clumped together.  To break apart, smash in plastic bag or pulse in a spice/coffee grinder a few times.  You still want the salt to be somewhat course.
    8. Rim glasses with lime juice and roll though the salt solution to rim glasses.
