Yield: 8 servings.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 pkg. strawberry gelatin
- 1 c. hot water
- 1 c. cold water
- 2 10-oz. pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
- 1 envelope dessert
- topping mix, whipped
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1-3 oz. pkg cream
- cheese softened
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Dissolve gelatin in hot water;
- stir in cold water.
- Add 2 ice cubes,
- chill.
- Add strawberries.
- Pour half of mixture in oblong, glass baking dish.
- Freeze.
- Chill remaining half of mixture until nearly set.
- Combine dessert topping mix, sugar and cream cheese;
- beat until smooth.
- Spread dessert topping mixture on top of frozen layer
- top with chilled gelatin.
- Chill for several hours.
