Randy’s Pressure Cooker Chili

Test Recipe

 

12oz dry red beans about 1.5 cups.

Wash them and make sure they don’t have any debris or rocks in them.

4 cup H2O

Two 28oz cans of crushed tomatoes

I medium white onion chopped.

4 teaspoons chili powder

1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 teaspoon dried parsley

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon dried basil

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

1/2t Thyme

1t Garlic Powder or 3 cloves of roasted garlic

2t Cumin

2t Oregano

1t Paprika

16 oz refried beans

Pressure cook for 65 minutes and let pressure drop naturally (about 10 minutes)

 

Add meat after

2.5 lbs randy’s Mexican chicken
