Sausage Balls

Test Recipe

Yield: 80 sausage balls.

May add milk or water and beef bouillon granules for variation. May be frozen and reheated.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb. hot or mild sausage
  • 3 cups buttermilk baking mix
  • 10 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Combine sausage, cheese and baking mix in bowl; mix well.
  2. Shape into small balls.
  3. Place on baking sheet.
  4. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes or until brown.
  5. Drain
