NOTES:
I like this recipe better and it can be made for 20% of the cost of the store-bought sauce.
Recipe makes about 1 quart.
Ingredients:
- 12 oz. can of tomato paste
- 2 2/3 cups water
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons cumin powder
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1 teaspoons paprika
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 teaspoons white sugar
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 beef bullion cube
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 teaspoons corn starch

Note: This actually makes 290 ounces or 2.25 gallons. You need to use a 12 quart stockpot for this.
- 8 cans of tomato paste (12 oz.)
- 21 1/4 cups water
- 2 cups apple cider vinegar
- 5 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- 5 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 5 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 5 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 2 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons paprika
- 2 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 10 Tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons white sugar
- 4 Tablespoons salt
- 8 beef bullion cubes
- 8 oz. Worcestershire Sauce
- 5 Tablespoons plus 1 teaspoon corn starch
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly
- Simmer for 10 minutes on the stove top to allow the flavors to meld.
